Dr. Hoenders began working on Aruba in 2018. After receiving her education at the University of Groningen’s Medical School in the Netherlands.
Dr. Hoenders began working on Aruba in 2018. After received her education at the University of Groningen’s Medical School in the Netherlands. Her residency was split between the University Medical Hospital of Groningen (UMCG) and the Groningen Martini Hospital. Her thesis, “Microorganisms and inflammation in the long-term aseptic loosening process of total hip implants,” was completed in 2008. She completed a two-year Paediatric Orthopedics fellowship after completing her orthopedic surgery training (UMCG). Dr. Hoenders and her family moved to Aruba after completing her fellowship.
Dr. Hoenders treats patients of all ages and has a passion for helping people get back to the things in life they enjoy most without wrist pain.
