Dr. Haime, an Aruba native, has been working on the island since 1995. He graduated from the Amsterdam Medical Centre with a medical degree. He moved to the United States for a fellowship in Total Joint Arthroplasty after finishing his residency at the University of Amsterdam. In 1995, he returned to Aruba.

He is passionate about perfecting innovative methods to treat patients so they experience faster recovery and shorter hospitalization times. Dr. Haime hip joint replacement surgeries are performed through the direct anterior approach that avoids cutting muscles.
